Download
Here’s the deal:
We both know that paying for downloads sucks: iTunes et al charge way over the odds, and the audio quality is shit. And we both know that whatever music you’re after, if you want it for free you’re gonna be able to find it for free from somewhere online if you look long and hard enough.
So why muck about? We’ll try and make as much of our stuff as possible available for you to download freely, direct from us.
It won’t be everything all the time as we have distributors to keep happy – much as we don’t like the paid-for download sites, it’s essential for a small label like us to have a presence there and they don’t like us freely giving away the stuff that they want you to pay for, so we may have to hold some stuff back, at least for a little while – new releases, etc.
Anyway, we digress. Even though we’re not gonna charge you for downloads we would appreciate a donation if you’re feeling flush enough – you’re obviously here because you like something about what we’re doing, and any money you send our way will help us to keep doing it.
Thanks – enjoy browsing!

Extras
(Artwork not available)
EXCLUSIVE!!! Some rare and unreleased tracks from THWFoS, including:
- a track from the recording session that produced I Saw The Lights Go Out and A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away for the album How I Wasted My Youth. This one never made it onto that record.
- appeared on a split limited-edition 3″ CD for Northern Star Records’ in 2008, opposite three tracks from SAY.
- previously unreleased instrumental track, featuring a guest performance from /miss Eleanor Bush on flutes.
- the winning entry from our remix competition. This would have appeared on the next THWFoS single, but sadly that never came to be.
The zip file below contains all these tracks.

The New Happiness | Top
(as yet unreleased – recorded 2009)

A bit of a tease, this. We recorded these songs with TNH early in 2009, but various circumstances have kept us from making any more since then (they’re busy guys, y’know?), so sadly that’s all there is. For now. We’re hoping to add a few more to this perfect pair in 2010, maybe even enough to make aan album out of, if we can just lure them back to the studio for long enough …

Hindley | Top

The Cycle
The Cycle and Big City Girl were the stand-out tracks from our first recording session with Hindley in mid-2009. We’re in the middle of recording a second batch of songs right now, and hopefully one more session in 2010 will leave us with enough for a full album.
In the meantime, enjoy these!
